Bayramiç district is home to Ayazma Pınarı Nature Park, which is easily accessible by minibusses and offers a peaceful day surrounded by nature, away from the city crowds. Covering a vast green area of 5.85 hectares, the park features beautiful waterfalls, streams surrounded by endemic plants, forest pavilions, pergolas, picnic areas, children's playgrounds, and walking paths stretching through pine forests. The park is also famous for its high oxygen levels.
Located on the slopes of Mount Ida, Ayazma Pınarı Nature Park is a true marvel of nature. It sits at an altitude of 490 meters. The Ayazma stream, flowing vigorously from a deep valley, forms a small waterfall in the park. At the site where the waterfall cascades, a lake is formed. Every year in August, a "Beauty Contest" inspired by mythological tales takes place here.
As you stroll through the park surrounded by chestnut, hornbeam, oak, and lime trees, you can observe closely 38 endemic plant species unique to Mount Ida. The park offers scenic viewpoints where you can capture magnificent nature photographs in every season. Additionally, you can relax and unwind in the countryside gardens and picnic areas, leaving behind the fatigue of the year.
